New Study Reveals Network of Jewish Corruption In American Literary Awards System

The scholarly art publication, ASAP Journal, recently published a new study by Juliana Spahr and Stephanie Young showing that literary prizes are being rigged by a clique of Jews and gay activists from a few Ivy League schools.

Spahr and Young collected data from hundreds of award-winning poets and the often opaque panel of judges who decide winners and losers. They uncovered a small group of people awarding one another prizes to the exclusion of outsiders.

The most abusive in their findings was Robert Pinsky, the United States Poet Laureate from 1997-2000, who has personally collected numerous awards but has truly made a name for himself as a judge. Pinsky has distributed millions of dollars in cultural awards to friends and associates through his position.

As a judge, Pinsky helped Carl Phillips, a pioneer in “queer poetry,” win the Witter Bynner Poetry Fellowship, the Tufts Award, and an Academy of American Poets Fellowship. Pinsky personally taught Phillips at Boston University. Phillips later himself became a judge at Tufts after Pinsky gave up his seat.

Louise Gluck, a Jewish poet obsessed with the Holocaust, is a personal friend of Pinsky and has received tons of prizes from bodies he and Phillips both judge, such as the Wallace Stevens Award. So far, Gluck has accumulated $1.5 million dollars in winnings for her poetry, including Pulitzers and most recently, a Nobel prize.

Gluck, Pinsky, and Phillips are now all literary prize judges and are deferred to by various cultural fellowships and prizes which they repeatedly award to each other and their inner circle.  According to Spahr and Young, the trio “all awarded prizes to a small, overlapping group of poets, many of whom in turn awarded them a prize (or vice versa).”

Aside from being personal acquaintances who lock out everyone else, the literary prize kritarchs prioritize hard left upper class metropolitan politics (feminism, gay activism, Jewish activism, anti-white politics) over all.

The problem is not new. Spahr and Young traced the pattern of historical nepotism back to the Academy of American Poets, which is currently chaired by the Jew Michael Jacobs. The Academy has been making a mockery of the literary prize system for years, with figures like Daniel Hoffman and Stanley Kunitz serving as Chancellors for decades.

The Academy’s selections serve as cues and final appraisals to other institutions. The Academy has awarded 80% of Poet Laureates, 65% of National Book Award winners, and 50% of Pulitzer Prize finalists.

While Spahr and Young note that the winners are often “white” and almost always graduates of a few elite schools (including half who went to Harvard in their sample), a closer reading shows a well-established Jewish network that has succeeded in turning American art and culture into a niche sideshow of propaganda that provides nothing of value to the vast majority of people.
